I'm using pserver CVS for about an hour ago...

a few things i noticed about xine-ui (not in particular)

it seems a modified version of the audio playing while speed !=
XINE_FINE_SPEED_NORMAL patch is accepted, i've had some conflicts with that,
and i solved them, but can't see any setup option to enable speed changes
having effect on audio; this probably is only a libxine thing...

but related to that, i'd like xine-ui to have some control to use
xine_fine_speed parameter, for usage with my LIRC remote.

and something else, when i was browsing through the setup options in GUI, i
noticed that dropdown boxes have an odd effect on CPU usage, for some reason
kwin and X seem to divide all CPU usage between themselves and leave
everything else dry. essentially, the box is dropped down and you can't even
choose what you want...

that sounds like a bug... i've had it when i was trying to set my speaker
arrangement to 5.1 ...

besides that, it seems the konsole bug is still there, maybe the changes
aren't taking effect on anonymous CVS yet?
