[MPlayer-users] problems with some svcd playing ..

hi all ...

currently i got some problems playing different svcd's with mplayer cvs - some 
svcd's playreally nice .. some get really messed up (audio and some picture 
muddling ... i guess everybody had seen a damaged mpeg stream .. or? ;-) )  
...  in fact the mpeg2 stream is totally clean and plays nice with xine (jea 
.. i know ... sorry ....) or every other kind of player ... 

sometimes i get the following output:

@@@ libmpeg2 returned from sig11... (bad file?) @@@ 0%  0%  0.0% 0 0 0%
@@@ libmpeg2 returned from sig11... (bad file?) @@@
@@@ libmpeg2 returned from sig11... (bad file?) @@@
@@@ libmpeg2 returned from sig11... (bad file?) @@@

... if i switch to another cdrom dev the svcd plays fine ... i know everybody 
thinks now : ehh check that cdrom device ... (dma blablabla) .. but the same
svcd play's nice with every other player from that device - also no output on 
console for read errors or something like that ... so does anybody has an 
idea how to solve this? also every hint how to debug this in detail would be 
nice ...
