sorry, but I don't know, what topic shall I exacly look for. I can't find any info about LCD monitors...

I use mplayer 0.90 and xfree 4.3.0.
I'm using my notebook for playing films, but I see only a small window. I'm using 1024x768 as the GUI resolution and the films have always abou 500x300 or something like that.
On a normal CRT monitor works everything fine, so my question is clear: how can I fit the image of the film into whole width of the screen?
