Hello all,
my problem is a bit confuse.
and sorry for my bad english. i will try it anyway.
First, my hardware:
A7N8X-E Deluxe, 2x256MB RAM, GeForce2 MX 62MB,
...
Software is
Debian Sarge, Xfree+Devel, mplayer via cvs.
...
Finally, the problem comes with DGA in fullscreen.
I was testing some new vo's on commandline to test the speed.
I cant swear it was DGA, but after switching some modes, my monitor
become stupid frequencies and my display shows like this:
-------------------
\ /
\ /
| |
| |
/ \
/ \
-------------------
I dont know what happend, my 1280x1024 Modes was in this state.
So im booting into XP, and ... ahhh, same problem.
Okay, i switched back in lower resolution via Strg-Alt+ +/-
and all seems okay. Only the 1280x1024 Modes are affected.
Then, i played with a tool from x packages to show the vertical and
horizontal frequencies and modiefied these a bit like a kid :)
After some tests, reboots and i cant switch back to normal view.
Any Idea ?
----
My Debian System is broken, so i have no way to show some files and
logs for you.
TIA
